One More Thai: Reviews & Ratings
One More Thai A culinary blessing in Brevard that rivals or surpasses other Thai options in the Asheville area. Owner Chef Jaruwanee has spent half her life in the States after graduating from a culinary school in Bangkok. Although this place has only been opened for 8 months, it radiates warmth and color inside and out. The outdoor seating is comfortably shaded for a hot summer day. Staff, friendly and prompt. A quiet, intimate ambience for lunch or dinner. Lunch specials reasonably priced with generous servings. Closed from 3-4 and all day Tuesday. Easily the best Thai place in town, if not the only authentic one. We plan on thoroughly exploring the menu with delight. As vegans we were totally satisfied!
We had gone here on a rainy afternoon and the food was amazing. We loved the green curry and also the fried rice but the green curry was really good. They also gave us extra wings. It was so good we took some home as well. The mango sticky rice was really good as well.
Great food, served with a smile. It's a tiny little restaurant that specializes in curries and noodles, but they have some excellent tofu dishes as well. Great local find!
While visiting/traveling through, we knew we wanted to stop by and we are so glad we did! We waited in our truck camper in the church parking lot for the hour they were closed (3-4pm), and went in right as they re-opened, so we were the only ones dining at the time. We ordered • Thai Tea - perfect! • One shrimp pumpkin curry - absolutely delicious! Many shrimp and chunks of pumpkin, with peppers, very good spicy curry sauce/soup and a good white rice bowl • One chicken pad Thai - big portion, plenty of chicken, noodles cooked just right in that special sauce with peanuts.. so so so good! We haven't had Thai food this good in a long time "khaawp khun maak kha!" Feminine polite form: "Thank you very much" in Thai
My mom and I loved this little Thai place! We were looking for a simple dinner on a Sunday night and many places were closed or crazy busy. This was perfect! We were impressed by the creativity of the menu, and to see items that you wouldn’t find at just any Thai restaurant was a treat. I almost ordered the pumpkin curry but at the last minute decided on the classic Thai poke bowl with mango and shrimp! I loved the simple and creamy Thai chili sauce that coated the rice. My mom got the cashew stir fry dish also with shrimp and we both loved it! Definitely give this place a visit. The outside looks a little hole-in-the-wall esque but the inside is just charming. You won’t regret it!
Great Thai food! The papaya salad was very refreshing and Sukathai noodle soup was delicious.
A nice find! They have great lunch specials that go until 3pm weekdays. The spring rolls were delicious and we liked the small size (you get 2). We both got the chicken pad thai and the lunch portions are very generous. The jasmine hot tea was excellent. And the service was both very good and fast. An overall win here!
Had lunch at One More Thai in Brevard, NC and it was excellent! Tried the Pad Thai and Garlic Eggplant, both with tofu, and they were absolutely out-of-the-park good. The lunch special also came with spring rolls, which were delicious too. We ate outside and had a great experience—friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and very fresh food. There’s a 3% upcharge for cards, but I paid cash. Definitely worth a visit, and I’d happily go back again
